As the manager of one of Central, Ohio’s largest assortments of Harley-Davidson MotorClothes and Collectibles selections, Barbie is experienced and able to help navigate all of our customers through the numerous products offered. If you have a clothing question, Barbie is up to the challenge of finding exactly what you need. Barbie’s dream bike is a Black Softail® Deluxe.
Melissa, C & A Harley-Davidson Rider's Edge Program Manager: Melissa has ridden behind her husband "Dwayne" for years on a Harley. In april of last year she took the Rider's Edge Course. Now she is riding a '03 Suzuki Volusia 800 all by herself. She loves to ride those winding country roads with her fellow bikers and friends. So if you see her out on the open road-say "hello". Or stop by, sign up for the Rider's Edge course and join her out on the open road!!
Chris, C&A Harley-Davidson Sales Associate: Chris is our lovely British transport, who grew up just outside of Sheffield, UK. He has ridden for twenty-five years starting on a Kawasaki KE125 bought from a friend to get to work after he wrecked his car. Sidenote: he wrecked his car racing one weekend. Chris upgraded to a 1000cc Kawasaki Concourse (GTR1000 in the UK) and toured most countries in western Europe including Lake Garda, Italy, and Northern Spain. Chris is a police trained, certified advanced motorcyclist and a DOT UK certified motorcycle riding instructor. Most importantly, he bought his first H-D, an XL1200 in 1990, from Windy Corner dealership in the UK, then a 90th anniversary FLHTC in 1993. He currently rides an ’04 yellow Texas Chopper. "I'll probably keep the chopper forever and plan to add a Cross Bones to my fleet."
Ron, C&A Harley-Davidson Sales Associate: Ron's best ride, like many, is through the Florida Keys. He began riding dirt bikes at age six progressing to street bikes at age fifteen. Ron's been selling motorcycles for eleven years, Harleys for last 5 years. He has worked for C&A for over a year now. Ron's Zen-like hobbies include his koi pond and working in his yard.
Duncan, C & A Service Technician: A student of history at the University of Kentucky, Duncan decided his love for riding should be more than a hobby. Making motorcycles his career, instead, Duncan has earned the prestigious Master of Technology Mechanic title and sixteen years of experience servicing bikes. Thirteen of those nineteen years account for his time at C & A. His first set of two wheels was on a Sportster® he purchased at age eighteen. Now, Duncan owns a 59’ and 64’ Harley® Panhead, 61’ BMW, 04’ Fat Boy®, and a 06’ Triumph with his eyes searching for a Vincent Rapide or Black Shadow and a Borough Superior. Check out the 59’ Panhead on display in the C & A display room. With more than enough choices to ride the open road, Duncan favors any and all winding, country roads.
Jason, C & A Service Technician: With C & A for four and a half years as our service mechanic, Jason has plenty of advice for your bike and how to ride it. “Motorcycles can be dangerous if you do not act maturely when riding.” Actually, he said “act your age,” but some riders are sixteen! Also, Jason would like for you to know that 270 makes for an aggressive ride, so avoid that stretch if you’re looking to putter along. Graduating from MMI in 1997, Jason has since served as a mechanic and avid rider atop his Suzuki DRZ400, which he customized into a super moto. On his list of to-dos is the purchase of a Ducati Hypermotard, but talk to him tomorrow and his list will have changed. Three things that remain the same are his love for the Yankees, peanut butter ice cream and the color silver.
Lee, C & A Harley-Davidson Service Technician: For six years running, Lee has made C & A his home, but prefers to ride on a Honda. What kind of Honda, you ask…well, it has parts from the seventies and eighties. Duncan, our service technician, describes Lee’s bike as those seen on Mad Max. Lee chips in that his is much faster than any Mad Max bikes. So, if you see an unidentifiable Honda that is green and fast, then it just may be Lee.
Ed, C & A Harley-Davidson Assistant Parts Manager: Gold Level P.A.C.E. Certified, Ed is as knowledgeable and friendly as they come. Riding to work as our Assistant Parts Manager for the past six years atop a 1998 FLTR, Ed’s dream bike is anything and everything Harley.
Bill, C&A’s Finance Manager: When it comes to great rides, Bill champions A1A, especially the 7 mile bridge & picturesque pavement connecting the Keys of Florida. Before bouncing from island to island, Bill began riding atop a 1974 CB350 Honda, progressing to a Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic. The 2005 Springer Classic bears Bills travels now, as he looks forward to putting more miles on the odometer while commuting to C&A for the past year.  Check out his new paint job- it is awesome!!
Tony, C&A's Service Manager: Tony left Georgia and his friends behind to make a new home here at C&A. Tony was just recently married to Holly-congrats! Tony has been working as a service tech for the last 17 years. His first bike a Honda mini trail 50 got him interested in motorcycles and his love for them just took off. Now Tony loves drag racing on his '99 Kawasaki ZX6-R. Whenever he is not out on the golf course. Tony's dream harley is a Softail Custom. Hopefully he can make that dream come true soon!
Kerry Besece, C&A Harley Davidson Parts Manager: Kerry is one of the sons, and owners of C&A. He started riding mini bikes/mopeds when he was six. He got his first Harley a '74 Sportster when he turned 16. These days Kerry loves riding his '03 v-rod on any and all country roads. So if you see a silver/black Vrod streak by your house, it just may be Kerry out enjoying the day. Or if the motorcycle going by your house is just a blur, he might be riding his '05 Screamin Eagle Classic. Kerry has worked at C&A for the past 19 years. He is the real deal when it comes to Parts Professionals!! If you need any kind of part or part information for your motorcycle - Kerry is the guy you want to see.
Owner, Adonna Besece and her daughter and General Manager, Dena Besece, pose during the 2008 Demo Day. C&A prides itself in its female friendly dealership. As female riders themselves, it is C&A's pleasure to make the two-wheeled world a reality for men AND women.
