 The idea behind the Rider’s Edge® New Rider Course is simple: to enable non-riders to experience the sport of motorcycling while learning basic skills in a way that’s fun and engaging.
Here’s a quick look at why the C&A H-D course is unique. The New Rider Course offered at C&A Harley-Davidson dealership uses the proven curriculum of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s Basic RiderCourse, with a Harley-Davidson twist. Instructors are dedicated riders, who have received certification from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, as well as additional training from Harley-Davidson. The New Rider Course includes both classroom and range training on a controlled practice site.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a state recognized waiver allowing you to obtain a motorcycle endorsement without taking the state skills test. You may be eligible for a discount on motorcycle insurance coverage as well. You will learn to ride on the truly unique Buell Blast. This mid-weight street bike is easy to handle with course-friendly features: two seat heights, hidden muffler and a low center of gravity.

New Rider Schedule During Week
- Tuesday 8am-4pm
- Wednesday 8am to 6pm
- Thursday 7am to 5pm
Cost is $295. If you are a H.O.G member before you take Rider's Edge, H.O.G gives each Rider's Edge graduate a $50 gift certificate to spend at C&A.
