| Mike, C & A Harley-Davidson Rider’s Edge Instructor: Began riding in his teens with ON/OFF road bikes and then street bikes. Mike bought his first Harley, a brand new 883, in October 1986 and has been riding Harleys while actively participating in HOG ever since. After twelve years, several long trips on the Sportster, and a few Fly-n-Rides he moved up to a 2002 Ultra Classic in April 2002. Now retired after 22-1/2 years in the U.S. Army and Ohio Army National Guard, Mike always has an American Flag on his American Motorcycle – especially since he has one painted on his tour pack. When Mike is not working his day job you might catch him riding a mission as a member of the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) or instructing Motorcycle Safety courses as a way to give back to enthusiast everywhere. Mike explains he and his wife, Beth, don’t get as much riding time as they would like with six children and their activities, “…but we sure make the most of the time we do get!” Happy, safe riding. |
Rich, C & A Harley-Davidson Rider’s Edge Instructor: Mom wouldn't let Rich have a bike of his own because his older, not smarter, brother scared the wits out of her on his Honda 90. Now some thirty years and one Kawasaki, one Yamaha and four BMW's later, he has amassed a motorcycle "stable" of five street and three dirt bikes. Rich’s wife and oldest daughter have their endorsements, but no bikes because they are hunting for the perfect bikes. The younger kids learn to ride through the woods and fields on the farm. Hopefully to some day enroll in a Rider’s Edge course. His favorite route is always the one he is riding at the time…He loves riding anywhere, anytime. Rush hour on the super slab or the back roads just outside Rich’s garage are particularly good picks. Dream bikes include a Harley-Davidson Ultra Glide or an '08 BMW GS1200ADV or a URAL Patrol, 2 wheel drive sidecar rig, the ultimate year round machine. Rich loves being an instructor; whether it is experienced, intermediate or new riders it is nothing short of a thrill to see each student learn something new. At least three of Rich’s students have become instructors themselves. Joining Rich in this photo are his two brilliant children, Casey and Ellie, who are proud Range Aids for the Rider's Edge training. |

| Tim, C&A Rider's Edge Instructor for the past two years. Tim is a great instructor. He really wants to make sure his students not only learn the skills to ride, but have fun doing it. His main goal is to stress the issue of safety. Learn to ride, learn to ride correctly & safely. Tim has been teaching for many years, and riding for more than he likes to tell. Tim loves to go for a ride on his harley every chance that he gets. |
Randy, C&A Harley-Davidson Rider's Edge Instructor: With 45 solid years and 300, 000 miles of street riding experience, Randy is absolutely a long distance rider. You know you are one serious rider when you participate in the Harley-Davidson Fly and Ride program in Hawaii. Randy rides the ultimate long distance hauler, an Ultra Classic, as he himself is as classy as they come! He enjoys drag and road racing and is an active Harley Owners Group member. His goal as an instructor is to bring out the best in each new rider and make the learning experience fun. For the experienced rider, Randy is able to offer new insights and information to assist riders in improving their skills and general riding enjoyment. |

| Rick, C&A Rider's Edge Instructor, Rick teaches for C&A in the summer, and in the winter he rides to Orlando Florida to teach all year round. He reallllly loves his job! Rick also works for motorcycle ohio. He has been riding motorcycles for several years, and enjoys every minute of riding. This is Rick's first full year of teaching with C&A, he stepped in and helped us out last year. He was such a great teacher we hired him! If you get a chance to talk with Rick, or are lucky enough to have him as your instructor listen to what he says. You will be all the better for it. |
